Make Me Stop

by Cameron Ember

Released 2015
Released 2015
Cameron Ember's vocals are calming, melancholic and ethereal. The lyrics are confessional, abstract and impressionistic. The band's sound is art rock, folk rock, lo-fi, and indie rock.
NOTES
I finished this song in 2015 after working at Popsmear Studios in San Rafael. Scott Llamas recorded and mixed most everything. Joe Rosato Jr. also recorded some tracks at his home in San Francisco and sent them to Scott via the internet. Joe played a bunch of different instruments including upright bass, mandolin, some keyboards and guitar. Barton Bishoff played guitar and Anthony Koutsos recorded the drums in pretty much one take. I'm really happy with …

Dreamy American Indie Pop from San Francisco. Highly melodic music. Mid-tempo. Tiny Little Blackouts is 50% sound-based and 50% lyric-driven, with the best comparison based on Cocteau Twins meets Elliot Smith.
NOTES
We make music we like and we hope you like it too.

Tiny Little Blackouts, formed in 2009, is 50% sound-based and 50% lyric-driven, with the best comparison based on Cocteau Twins meets Elliot Smith, with some Led Zepplin thrown in for good measure. Comprised of experienced San Francisco musicians, Tiny Little Blackouts makes sweet music. It's pretty, but not vacuous, slightly mournful, but not sad or dark. This is original, ethereal, atmospheric stuff, highly melodic and structured.

A Life of Crying

by Cameron Ember

Released 2008
Released 2008
slow and dreamy, slightly shoegaze indie rock, stories of heartbreak, tight song structure, intelligent lyrics, written with a knack for appreciating human suffering and conveying it in song.
NOTES
Cameron Ember is slightly shoegaze, low-fi indie rock in the vein of Low and Red House Painters (her drummer since 1997 is from the latter band). Her vocals and lyrics are both sad and hopeful, sometimes confessional and often (borrowing from the folk tradition) in the voice of other people, either imagined or real.
Cameron Ember was born in DC and grew up near the DC Hardcore scene. She moved to San Francisco in 1990 and went …
